Bedingungen der Wissensproduktion

Between qualification, self-optimisation and precarisation: in the hope of eventually being able to take one of the few coveted positions in the academic world, academics shimmy from one temporary employment contract to the next. Under precarious working conditions, they produce top academic performance in research and teaching. This volume discusses these conditions of knowledge production from theoretical, historical and empirical perspectives, whereby the focus of the analyses is on educational science and related disciplinary fields. It thus makes a contribution to the efforts to advocate for better working conditions at universities.
